Influence of Growth Retardants on Vegetative Growth of Apple (Malus × domestica Borkh.) Cultivars under High Density Planting System

The present investigation entitled “Regulation of growth, fruiting and biochemical characteristics in Fuji Zehn Aztec Red Braeburn apple cultivars through application growth retardants under high density planting system” was conducted the Experimental Block Division Fruit Science at Sher-e-Kashmir University Agricultural Sciences & Technology Kashmir, Shalimar campus, Srinagar (J&K) during years 2020 2021. Four-year-old on M9-T337 planted a distance 3×1 meter uniform age, vigor girth were used for study. experiment comprising seven treatments viz., control, prohexadione-calcium @125 ppm, @250 @500 paclobutrazol @200 @400 paclobutrazol@600 ppm laid out randomized complete design with three replications. chemicals sprayed one week after petal fall, weeks 1st spray 2nd spray.
